Die stolzen PokalbesitzerInnen

Salzburg´s English Language Champions

On May 3rd our class 4Mb (teacher Mag. Monika Steigerwald) took part in an English competition called ´the Big Challenge´. This was a contest in English based on 45 multiple choice questions about reading, vocabulary, phonetics, grammar and geography.

Zeljana Maksimovic and Emma Nussbaumer, both from class 4 Mb, finished first equal in the Federal State of Salzburg.

Brighton Language Week, April 13 – 20, 2016 - 7RA & 7 RB - What we liked best

We had a fantastic time in Brighton! Our host family was very kind, though we didn’t spend a lot of time with them. Most of the time we were sightseeing or eating the multicultural food that Brighton and London offered. The best place we visited was “Seven Sisters,” due to the beautiful landscape, the sea and the animals (sheep, cows, etc.). All in all, we enjoyed being in the UK and it was worth the money.

English Workshop “Selfie“

A Selfie per definition is a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically taken with a smartphone or webcam and shared via social media. In social networks nearly everyone has already taken a Selfie and often uses it as a profile picture. Nowadays, it is all about having likes and being the most beautiful person. Selfies in our society are now very important and no longer indispensable.

Sprachreise nach London

London

A language trip that broadened our horizons

Every language trip leaves a staying impression on the traveler. Having to speak only the local language, dealing with the people and their habits and visiting a lot of sights leads to an improvement of language in use, pronunciation and the knowledge about famous places. But what does this trip make remarkable?

Projekttage in London, 6G

Adjective poems

"MY CUPCAKE"

It smells sweet
It tastes like chocolate
It looks like a brownie
It feels soft
It's my favorite dessert: cupcake.

“MY LITCHI”

Cliffs, English And A Great City

Memories of Dublin
This October, we, the 7G had the unique opportunity to visit Dublin and nobody will ever forget the beautiful cliff-walk, our host families (though some of us might want to forget them) or this great city overall, but there's a lot more to write about.

7Ra and 7Rb - Irish Experience 2013

Our Irish experience began at Dublin Airport. After a 40-minute bus ride to Bray, County Wicklow, we were welcomed by our host families in front of the school, where our English lessons started the next day. Later on we met our teachers at a local landmark and received permission to explore Bray on our own. The following day we had our first lessons with Eileen and Edel, our Irish teachers.

Cambridge Certificates – FCE
